The employees are unhappy, but loyal to their employer

Posted by admin on March 14th, 2011

The relationship between employees and their business is a little "I love you I do not either." According to a survey released this morning by the firm Accenture, "more than half of employees worldwide are not satisfied with their current work situation, but they still expect to remain loyal to their employers." We do love each other anymore, but we stay together despite any lack of anything better!

"Even if they are dissatisfied, today's employees are not willing to change employers. They prefer to build their skills based on training, resources and people that can help them, "said Armelle Carminati-Rabasse, CEO Human Capital and Diversity at Accenture.

Conducted in 29 countries with 3400 employees, the study lists the main sources of job dissatisfaction: inadequate pay arrives logically at the head, after three lean years, for 47% of women surveyed and 44% of men. The lack of prospects for career development is another strong point for 33% of women and 34% of men. In France, 50% of respondents highlight "the feeling of being trapped."

Involving more staff

Men and women are they the same analysis on the reasons for job dissatisfaction? Not totally.Women are thus more likely than their male colleagues to believe that "their career is not progressing fast enough" (63% against 55%). They agree, however, the identification of barriers to career progression this is the lack of support from management tops (33% response) and the career fuzzy and poorly defined (24%).

They do not adopt either the same steps to improve their situation. "Women are less likely than men to seek wage increases (44% against 48% of women) or promotions (28% against 39%)," said Armelle Carminati-Rabasse. They are also much more reluctant than their counterparts to target a senior officer or equivalent (14% against 22% globally).

"The leaders should use the results of this study to involve more of their employees and support them in their careers. They are now pursuing new opportunities to create in-house, and companies can help, "says the investigator.

The room rents for good soon taxed

Posted by admin on March 11th, 2011

The Department of Housing spoke of the last week, the government will tackle rising rents by taxing the owners too greedy. The subject is delicate. For the Department working on the issue for several weeks, the task is to "correct the excesses without falling into a overregulated. No straitjacket general, therefore, the Secretary of State for Housing, Benoist Appeared, having said all the evil he thought the proposal from the left to frame the evolution of all rents.

Measures in 2012

The owners of rooms are in good contrast in the crosshairs. "Some landlords ask for more than 90 euros per square meter, or 900 euros for a maid's room of 10 square meters equipped with only a water point. "It's totally unfair," he said Thursday Benoist Found in a telephone interview with AFP.To end this situation, it means taxing rents above 40 euros per square meter for areas less than or equal to 13 square meters.

In Paris, the average rental price per square meter is estimated at 23 euros. For large areas – 100 m2 – the average price is around 17 euros per square meter, and he explodes for microhousings, reaching 40 euros on average. "40 euros, it still remains high, but we must find a balance, to prevent the owners meet the maid's rooms into an apartment," argued the Secretary of State freecreditscore. In Paris, there is a strong demand for small housing type maid's room, including from students and people with low incomes, and further more good bedrooms apartment rental stock reduces available.

The provision should be included in the next budget law, the one for 2012.

Price Transparency

In another interview with the newspaper Liberation, and intervention on France 2, Benoist Appeared also said the government would consider sanctions for not complying rented by the Loi Carrez. This law requires the lessor to meter housing. For now the text does, however, no penalty."We will fix it," says the minister who wants a student who rented a 10 square meters to claim a rent reduction if it finds the Carrez surface is only 9 square meters.

Moreover, to improve price transparency in the rental market, the Minister announced the forthcoming launch of an online website on rents "neighborhood by neighborhood" in Ile-de-France, to give "elements negotiations "with people seeking shelter against a greedy owner.

Roland Garros, Paris, favorite hotly contested

Posted by admin on February 12th, 2011

Paris Has it been too sure of his strength? There is just one more year, the possibility of relocation was seen as a joke by the City Council. At the point of not meeting the requirements of the French Tennis Federation, eager to expand the site of Roland Garros in order to accommodate the public, partners and media in better conditions, and to demand a fee from astronomical 2016 (the current lease expires in 2015). "There is a Roland Garros. There is no other. It will be more if it leaves Roland Garros Paris. The love story between Roland Garros and tennis is necessarily the Porte d'Auteuil, on the current site (…) I'm really a city tour to the suburbs but frankly what belongs to Paris is Paris.Roland Garros as the Eiffel Tower is part of Paris, has just recently told Jean Vuillermoz, Deputy Mayor of Paris, in charge of sport in a whiff of superiority. Faced with this situation, the TFF has decided to react by putting Paris in competition.

A hotly contested competition
A bluff? Initially judged as such, the call for entries is taken very seriously. Three suburban sites are then selected to host Roland Garros: Versailles, Marne-la-Vallée and Gonesse. The quality of records that are pushing the proposed FFT to seriously consider a move. "Attitudes have indeed changed," admitted the director Roland Garros Gilbert Ysern, whom we asked last November.Under pressure, the Mayor of Paris reacts through Bertrand Delanoe, who tabled a "vow on the development of the Tournament of Roland Garros in Paris" fulfilling all the wishes of the original Federation. Extending the area of 60% (5 hectares), covering the Central, the construction of a new 5,000-seat stadium, a new concession for a period of 99 years and a charge down the figure indexed business.

An eminently strategic
By choosing to stay in Paris, the FFT would be the choice of conservatism. A choice of heart more than reason? So says Hervé Dupont, executive director of the Plaine de France, holder of record of Gonesse."Either the Federation made the strategic choice to remain in Paris for convenience, for fear of change, because it costs him a little cheaper … Either it moves and in this case we believe we have the best project." Leaving the historic site Auteuil would especially at Roland Garros to catch up and even take the lead, on the other Grand Slam tournaments (Wimbledon, U.S. Open and Australian Open) in terms of area (over 30 hectares) no checking account payday advance. Pragmatic, Guy Forget is rather favorable to offshoring.

An opinion that disagrees obviously not John Vuillermoz: "Is that what is important is the space, the number of acres? Does the importance of this tournament is not elsewhere? The goal is to get better. There will be an opening to a new space, a new short 5,000 seats. A lawn will replace the short No. 1, which is not beautiful. This will allow spectators to picnic before a large screen that will broadcast all the matches. This is what will stay at Roland Garros in its box, while remaining accessible to the greatest number. This is not just about square meters. "

Dissension
Unlike Gonesse and Marne-la-Vallee, where the political will to welcome Roland Garros is unanimous, the case of Paris, like that of Versailles, is facing some dissension. "We are a democracy, everyone can express themselves. You say there is no opposition would not be true. Now, democracy is majority and in this context, the Paris council has spoken: 12 councilors voted against and 141 voted for! After the Greens, who voted against the Olympic Games in Paris, which are against the top-level sport in Paris and that the residents of the Porte d'Auteuil want to stay together and not to involve the mass is their problem … But the great mass of the Parisians is favorable. All the polls show, "says Jean Vuillermoz, reminding us that Paris can count on support from the weight, partners and sponsors.

Sponsor support historical
BNP Paribas, whose brand is associated with at Roland Garros for 37 years, is actually very clear about this: "We support the continuation of the tournament in the capital. We believe that much of the prestige is that it is in central Paris.Whatever the qualities of offshoring projects, they would not have the same influence. "Same story from Alain Afflelou:" Roland Garros is a prestigious tournament that counts a lot in terms of public relations device. Currently, it is easy to reach, it will be more complicated than 35 km … "Favorite, File Paris nonetheless threatened. Not sure he collects 66% of votes of the 195 voters of the Federation for its victory on Sunday. He could well find themselves with ballot Versailles (the most dangerous rival?). The two finalists then the tie would be within three months, an absolute majority, at a new General Assembly …

The Paris plan:

Consumers do not trust sellers

Posted by admin on February 5th, 2011

In France, household consumption is relatively good. But consumers have changed. The crisis has left its mark and changed behaviors. "They are more suspicious than ever" vis-à-vis prices, brands, advertising and signs, says a study by TNS Sofres for the Internet of 8700 Observatory Cetelem. Now, consumers no longer take for granted what they say sellers. They learn before you buy. Nearly 60% of them say look "very carefully" prices. And half of respondents (49% in France) report systematically seek promotions, are the most scrupulous Portuguese (66%), Slovaks (66%) and Romanians (64%).

Lack of competence

The European online shoppers are becoming more and more time for reflection. Before making a major purchase (over 160 euros), 90% of them "leading the investigation" on the Internet. Upon arrival, French polled almost one in two (48%) said it happens more than a month between when he started to learn and when he decides instant payday loan. For information, younger (61% of those under 30 years, against 40% of those over 50 years), plébiscitent blogs and other social networks (Web 2.0), considered more reliable than the comments left on some commercial sites .

More demanding and very well informed consumers "no longer grant an innocent belief in the marks and arguments vendors," said Flavien Neuvy, head of the Observatory Cetelem. The rise of the Internet has challenged the traditional role of the seller. The latter has lost its "superb" in the eyes of Europeans, who generally find it does not seem "not competent enough, passionate enough and is not considered to be the right person to negotiate the price." Only 38% of those surveyed also believe that the vendor has advised that at their last major purchase was familiar with his field … which is unlikely. Vendors must reinvent itself.

Google's new offensive in the tablets

Posted by admin on February 3rd, 2011

After doubling with Apple in the smartphone operating system Android, Google Will it all in the tablets? This seems to be the unstated objective of the leader in Internet search. His version of Android 3.0, Honeycomb her first name, bills itself as "the first operating system designed for touch pads". Unlike competing systems that were designed for smartphones and declined for the tablets.

Among the strengths highlighted by the Google executives, on Wednesday, is the storage of personal data on the cloud, the cloud computing. If the user loses his phone, he will find his tablet … despite all his personal data. An argument that reminds one of the strengths of the BlackBerry, which also enters the segment from the shelves. And like its Canadian competitor, Android lets you open several applications at once.Plus a button that makes the trips.

Google also takes on video conferencing. His shelves are equipped with front and rear cameras. But moving objects par excellence, they also have a stabilizer, which avoids having an effect of camera shake during a conversation.

Create an ecosystem

Google is also focusing on the convergence of smart phones, tablets and also Google TV, Android, to facilitate the adaptation of existing applications from one environment to another. This represents a potential saving and financial gain for developers totally free credit score. User side, it allows access from any device on an Android downloaded application on Android Market and receive an indexing system very intuitive.Honeycomb may also be used as an eBook, to "turn the pages so sweet and nice," according to Google, but with a screen rendering that is not unlike that seen on iPad.

Google is also focusing on the accessibility-on-3 for Android attract content providers and application developers. No question for the search engine to keep pace with Apple in the field of available applications. However, Disney announced Wednesday the arrival of four applications on Android.

As in telephony, Google will leverage the power of manufacturers. Motorola was the first to unveil Xoom, its shelf under Honeycomb, creating the event at CES, the electronics show in Las Vegas in early January. LG followed with his G-Slate to be launched in the U.S. in the spring. And in France in late March, early April.Small feature of the G-Slate: it can take 3D images. It is also one of the key creeds of manufacturers chose Honeycomb: enabling the user to view content, but also to conceive.

VAT hike: operators who are the most generous

Posted by admin on January 16th, 2011

The VAT hike on January 1 in telecoms has triggered a fare increase in mobile Internet and most telcos. But the French are not all equal before the increases. There are those whose membership will increase and those to be spared. So those who may request termination of their free online and those who remain bound to their operator. For the occasion, Lefigaro.fr compiled the information given by the major French telecom operators.

Orange increases capped

In Orange, about 11 million subscribers are affected by rising prices. In mobile, it affects 3 million customers, a fleet of 18 million. She passed on two ranges of current packages: packages blocked M6 Mobile and Origami Star. She is one to three euros, rounded to achieve a round number, usually in favor of the customer (see pdf). Other packages earlier, including television, are also increasing. The affected customers were notified by mail, and can terminate free.

In ADSL, the nine million Orange customers are affected by changes in fees. All packages can watch television, the "Livebox", a satellite or an Internet portal, the operator calls. The increase ranges from 1.10 to 3 euros (see pdf). It is for example 2.10 for the package "triple play" basis, up from 29.90 to 32 euros. In this case, rounding is not on the client's favor, since the price should be 31.77 euros in strictly applying the VAT increase from 5.5 to 19.6% on half of the package.

SFR price points

SFR applies also rate increases in the fixed and mobile. It affects 5.2 million mobile customers in eight ranges of packages, one-third of subscribers of the operator. These increases reflect the increase in VAT to the penny, and are usually rounded to the client. However, they may reach ten euros more expensive packages, because unlike Telstra, Vodafone did not put up ceiling from 3 euros. Watch your bill.

In ADSL, these increases offset by work. The increase is 1 euro for subscribers under 20 euros, for example to offer "Internet only" Same day payday loans. And it is 2 euros for offers from more than 20 euros. The package "triple play" reference at 29.90 euros to 31.90 euros so happens, instead of 31.77 euros if SFR did not round prices.

Bouygues Telecom: no increase in mobile

Bouygues Telecom stands out from its two main competitors, as it announces no increase in the mobile. Its 8.4 million subscribers packages are spared. This gesture he described as "generous" aims to recruit new customers from its competitors.

In ADSL, where Bouygues Telecom has 645,000 customers, packages will be € 1.88 more expensive starting in February, regardless of the offer.
